A Swiss stock photography agency Kursiv recently has celebrated its 15th anniversary.
Originally it started as a software resource for designers. The business was founded by Karsten Risseeuw in 1994. 3 years later the agency began selling CDs with royalty free images. For that time it was a very promising idea as internet was rather slow. Also rights managed images were expensive. Within just one year the company worked out a dozen collections. The founder says during those times they were getting numerous requests for image catalogues.
At present customers are offered nearly 11 million images that can be found through search for instant download. From its very start Kursiv was trying to offer only best products to its customers. The services cover a wide range of customers’ needs. Beginning from low budget projects to high cost.
